We used to have some online articles. They are a lot of trouble to maintain though. I am working on an article submission add on from wordpress. I have it running but need to work out some issues. It will be up soon.

Registration in the forum is disabled in order to keep the Viagra sellers at bay. They have a way of finding forums and signing up for them just to post ads which I am sure all of you have seen before. To keep the forum easier to maintain so that this is not an issue, we are not allowing direct registration. Members of the photo post site automatically get registered on the forum but nobody else can register. This makes things much easier.

Still working on the look and feel of the new forum, I would love to see it get used. I have it now so that you just have to login and re-enter your password and you can get in. Give me a few days to get things working right though. Its a large learning curve and I need to get up to speed on how to manage this without changing the other gallery part of the site. The old board had a seperate login and I never did like that. This one has your login and password and email etc.. But you will have to login twice to change the password to SHA1 format of encryption. other than that though you should be able to go from one to the other anytime. So this is what I needed and why I got rid of the old bulletin board system.

I have always wanted a forum on here, However for technical reasons I did not want to combine them. So I have come up with a way to import users from the photo gallery into the forum. At the moment I have all users imported and when you login there will be a message to enter your password twice because it has to upgrade security from MD5 to SHA1. But other than that you will be able to login with no issues. Now I just have to work on the look and feel of the new forum. I recently did an upgrade and had a few minor issues. The main one being that the photo contest did not work. This was resolved and the voting is now working as planned.
